/ THE PROJECT
Business idea: Electric car sharing and car pooling (ongoing assignment)
The business is ambitiously aiming to change the narrative of the transportation sector by fitting car sharing ideas in the circular economy.
It is not only addressing climate change by using electric vehicles, but also looking into flexible and sustainable transportation solutions at system level and strategic partnerships (including private-public), which would reduce road traffic as well as transportation waste.
/ CHALLENGES
The main challenge for the business is to attract scaled capital and land partner relationships in a relatively consolidated market, in a pre-pilot stage. At the same time changing regulations and new laws around electric cars and car sharing represent both opportunities as well as entry constraints to the startup idea.
/ OUR APPROACH
The work at this stage entails lots of market research and strategic market analyses, business modeling and ideation excercises. We design customer journey (use case), business and circularity cases, also collaborating with industry and circularity experts. Furthermore, using our financial expertise we build 1-3 years' financial plans and budgets, and checking the viability of the business idea from various angles. This stage requires repetitive work approach, and multiple structuring, modeling and visualization exercises, business presentation, grant application writing, and pitching.
/ RESULTS
The business is actively participating in grant applications and startup, circularity & technology idea competitions.
Recently it has been invited into a startup circularity design competition and accelerator program organized by the Innovation office of the Ministry of Economy of Luxembourg, gaining interests the from private and public jury.
