What is Business analysis?
Business analysis is a broad discipline that encompasses everything from strategic analysis to business, change, and system analysis. It involves understanding and defining problems and business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions that drive organisational success. Whether it’s assessing high-level strategies or addressing specific operational or system challenges, business analysis provides the framework for informed decision making and effective change management.
Project vs. Change management?
Although often used interchangeably, project management and change management serve distinct purposes. Project management is primarily focused on delivering products, services, or outcomes. Its goal is to ensure that these deliverables are created on time, within scope, and budget. Change management, on the other hand, is concerned with transforming the organization to prepare for the adoption of these project deliverables. It focuses on realizing the benefits after the outcomes are delivered and ensuring that the changes are successfully integrated into the organization.
